Damavand Mountain Climbing
Iran has dozens of high mountains, some of which are covered with snow permanently. Many can be climbed by anyone, without the need for special equipment, experience, or guide, but some are hard and you need the local guides. From early June to late August is the climbing season.

Day 1: Arrival Tehran – Shirpala Arrival at Tehran, meet and assist at the airport and then transfer to Hotel Morning after breakfast visit (Sadabad palace) and then transfer to the foot of the mountains (Darband Sq.) and mountain climbing to the Shirpala shelter (2750m.) “Acclimation program” overnight:1-night hotel in Tehran and 1-night shelter.
Day 2: Shirpala – Touchal summit Early morning after breakfast, climbing to Touchal Summit (3960m.) and then come back to Osoun valley (2400m), overnight: Hotel Osoun (mountainous hotel).
Day 3: Osoun – Gosfandsar Early morning after breakfast return to Darband Sq. and then trip with the vehicle to Gosfandsar area in the foot of the Damavand mountain (3200m) after loading the mules ascent to Shelter of the south in Damavand (Bargah-e-sewom) (4150m.) Overnight: Shelter (Bargah-e-sewom).
Day 4: Shelter – summit of Damavand Early morning after breakfast starts the ascent to the summit of Damavand (5671m.) and after that return to the Shelter. Overnight: Shelter (Bargah-e-sewom).
Day 5: Shelter – Abegarm-e-Larijan The morning after breakfast come back to Gosfandsar and then transfer with the vehicle to Abegarm-e-Larijan the village has natural hot mineral water. Overnight: Local house.
Day 6:  Abegarm-e-Larijan - Tehran The morning after breakfast come back to Tehran.
Day 7: Full day Tehran The morning after breakfast visiting (National museum, Glass museum, and old bazaar in Tehran. Farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant. Overnight: Hotel in Tehran.
Day 8: Departure from Iran Early morning transfer from the hotel to Tehran international airport (IKIA) leaves Tehran and returns to home.
